
David Van Zyl
Bartender, mixologist, winemaker and drink consultant David “Swing” has been working in the drink and food industry for the last ten years all over South Africa. From foraging for some of Franschhoek best chefs to experiencing with the art of brewing or cocktail making, David has explored all aspects of the industry with the same passion and dedication. He is now part of the world-renowned Cause / Effect cocktail kitchen located in Cape Town, an experiential lab that he has helped developed and that was voted best South African Cocktail Bar & Best Bar team of 2019.

Paula lorang
Born in Montreal, raised in Lyon and now Cape Town based, Paula has studied art history, literature and graphic design before discovering her passion for the drink & bartending Industry. She is currently teaching the French bartending course at the world-renowned European Bartender School of Cape Town.
